Exemptions from reporting obligations

The obligation to report data under the terms of the OeNB’s BOP reporting regulation 1/2022 on cross-border capital transactions does not apply to:

• individuals employed by Austrian central, regional or local authorities or Austrian corporations under public law if they are Austrian nationals and if their place of work is located abroad (including family members living in the same household);

• international organizations and foreign nationals that, under international (bilateral) conventions, have been granted diplomatic or consular prerogatives and immunities or privileges in the field of exchange control legislation.
